Window Replacement — Hidden Glen, Round Rock, TX
Mi · V3000 · Vinyl
We love our new picture windows. cupcake did an amazing job. I will definitely go to them again for windows. Highly recommend them.
This Hidden Glen homeowner had been thinking about picture windows since the day she moved in — almost 15 years. The west-facing wall took the worst of the afternoon sun, which faded interior finishes and pushed the electric bill higher than it needed to be. Replacement stayed on the someday list until a stretch of window projects rolled through the neighborhood — and walking past one house after another with new picture windows finally moved it to the top.
After weighing the cost of replacing just the glass panes against a full upgrade, the math was closer than expected — picture windows weren’t much more than a glass-only repair. The homeowner chose MI V3000 vinyl windows in white to match the home’s existing trim. Vinyl frames resist the thermal transfer that drives up cooling costs, and the V3000 sits in MI’s value tier — durable framing and reliable hardware engineered for projects where dependable performance matters more than premium upgrades. Most openings became picture windows — the goal she’d been holding onto for fifteen years.
From quote to install, the project moved fast — she signed at the kitchen table the same day she got the number, surprised by how reasonable the upgrade really was. The crew that installed the windows was a family team — a father and his two kids — and kept her informed at every stage. Cupcake collected no payment until the work was complete; financing is available for buyers who want the same arrangement formalized. - Communications were numerous and meaningful. Professionalism … More was demonstrated throughout the entire process of roof replacement from sales call (Matt) until final walk through at completion of the project with the owner of the company (!) All questions I posed were were answered completely. The installation methodology included added protection (sheet metal) at the valleys. The grade 3 shingles were my choice made for the added protection afforded from weather elements and the extensive warranty offered. The cost of this project was very competitive with other bids I sought. I am more than pleased with the outcome of project completion. I have already recommended to others my great experience & recommendation.
- We are quite pleased with our windows! Junior, Anthony … More and Sam kept the areas clean, worked very well with my husband on some minor changes and we made friends, like family! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! Glad to be part of the Cupcake family. We’ve recommended them to our family and friends.
- We had Cupcake out a few months ago to install new … More windows. We are very pleased with the work that was performed.

- I cannot express how easy it was to work with Cupcake. … More They came out multiple times to go over my project, as I had many questions. I never felt pressured and they were kind and patient in answering all my questions and concerns. Once the contract was signed having the updates on the window manufacture process as awesome and got me excited about the project. My install team was small and communicative. So overall probably took a bit longer to install but that was better for me, as I didn't want a lot of people in the house. They removed and installed each window one at a time. The finite details and finished product are amazing. I could not be happier. Would highly recommend.
- From the first conversation to the last detail everyone … More was extremely friendly, professional, detailed oriented and timely. Communication was constant throughout the stages of the project with detailed emails letting me know how it was going, and when installation time arrived- it was a breeze! The installers were professional, worked efficiently and did an amazing job. Any slight detail left, was tended to by another extremely great person. I wasn’t even considering windows at the time, but I’m SO happy Cupcake was the company that got me through this experience.
