The house on Eastdale Drive in Pecan Springs-Springdale had carried the same roof for at least 25 years — longer than the typical lifespan of an asphalt shingle system. By August 2026, the roof had outlasted its design life and the inspection confirmed it.
Twenty-five years of Austin sun had left the roof visibly deteriorated. The job was scheduled as a one-day install, with ventilation upgraded across the full ridge and double-layer underlayment factored into the scope from the start.
